weeds,
enslaving
children
over
made-up
laws,
you
get
the
picture.
But
far
fewer
have
gone
viral
for
reminding
us
that
authority
and
care
can
go
hand
in
hand.
Frank
Caprio
was
one
of
those
judges.
Known
largely
for
extending
grace
to
residents
of
Rhode
Island,
Frank
Caprio
has
recently
passed
away.

His
death
following
a
diagnosis
of
pancreatic
cancer
was
announced
on
his
official
account,
where
he
was
remembered
for
his
“warmth”
and
“unwavering
belief
in
the
goodness
of
people”.
He
was
no
stranger
to
that
goodness;
there
are
many

of
him
sharing
it
with
the
defendants
that
came
before
him:
