while
I’m
here,
remember
who
appointed
you!’

Welcome
to
our
daily
feature,
Quote
of
the
Day.
I’d
like
to.
I
think
it’s
one
of
the
most
important
decisions
we’ll
ever
have
from
the
Supreme
Court.
…
I
might
go
there.
I
really
believe
I
have
an
obligation
to
go
there.
—
President
Donald
Trump,
in
comments
concerning
the
possibility
attending
oral
arguments
at
the
Supreme
Court
while
the
justices
deliberate
on
the
legality
of
his
tariffs.
Trump
later
went
on
to
tell
reporters
that
he
felt
“obligated”
to
attend.
Paul
Collins,
a
professor
of
legal
studies
and
political
science
at
UMass
Amherst,
said
Trump’s
move
would
be
“totally
outside
of
the
norm.”
Collins
continued,
saying,
“I
think
it’s
an
influence
campaign.
I
believe
that
he
thinks
that
his
presence
in
the
courtroom
will
remind
the
three
justices
he
appointed
that
he
expects
something
out
of
them.”
